Cambio Science training 2021

CamBioScience are offering three, on-demand training courses for life scientists, which may be relevant to DTP students.

Courses can be taken in your own time and access will last for 6-months. All courses include regular assessments, learning analytics and a personalised certificate upon completion.

CRISPR (Design, Strategy & Analysis)

This course contains material filmed by world-leading experts including Dr Oliver Baker (King’s College London, UK) and Dr Ben Davies (University of Oxford, UK). Modules cover an introduction to gene editing, guide RNA design, delivery methods, mouse models, base editing, deadCas9, screening and much more! Please find more information by clicking here.

Cerebral Organoids

Content filmed with Dr Madeline Lancaster and Dr Magdalena Sutcliffe (MRC-LMB, Cambridge, UK), this course takes you through the theoretical and practical elements of making cerebral organoids. 3D Cell Mdels and Organoid Systems

This course contains theoretical and practical lectures from world-leading experts including Dr Bon-Kyoung Koo (IMBA, Vienna) and Mr Jens Puschhof (Hubrecht Institute, Netherlands). Modules cover an introduction to 3D cell culture, adult stem cell-derived intestinal organoids, genetic engineering of organoids, cancer organoids and more! Cost

The training is optional for DTP students.  If you wish to attend, you can use your Research Training Support Grant (RTSG) to pay any costs.
