New methods of harvesting light energy is timely given the inevitable looming energy crisis. In this project, we will be studying bioinspired hybrid Cd-free QDs to work towards efficient energy harvesting. Moreover, the development of novel bio-compatible QDs are vital for other areas such as advanced bioimaging and targeted biomedical imaging.
