Mechanism of shear stress sensing

After graduating with a BSc (Hons) in Medical Sciences from the University of Leeds in 2013 I started a PhD in Professor David J. Beech’s laboratory studying the mechanisms of shear stress sensing in endothelial cells.

In the first year of my PhD I was involved in research that lead to a publication in Nature which was also featured in the Telegraph. I recently completed my PIPS with Swift Analytical Ltd and helped develop their new website which has recently been launched.
