From Canterbury originally, I graduated from Sheffield University in 2012 with a Masters in Biology, and stayed here to first work as Research Technician, and now begin a PhD. I work in Prof. Julie Scholes’ lab, studying the genetics of resistance in rice against the parasitic weed Striga hermonthica.
