Mechanistic understanding of wheat productivity in relation to water supply using real-time moisture sensors and models

I graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2015 with a BSC in Biology, joining the White Rose DTP at the University of Leeds under the supervision of Professor Leslie Firbank and Professor Steven Banwart in the same year. My project focuses on management practices that can reduce losses of nutrients, particularly phosphorus, from agricultural ecosystems. I am currently investigating how the manure of animals fed different diets affects crop performance and leaching losses when applied to soils.
