How to apply for i-CASE studentships for entry in 2022 (Students)

As part of the DTP3 funding round from the Biology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC), the White Rose BBSRC DTP has been awarded 7 CASE studentships per year, to be allocated over the academic years 2020-21, 2021-22 and 2022-23.

What is iCASE?

Our iCASE studentships are 4-year PhDs that include a collaboration with an industrial partner. The industrial partner supports the student throughout their PhD.  Part of that support involves providing a supervised placement – minimum 3 months – in industry.  This would normally take place on the employers’ premises but may be adapted to remote working depending on any lockdown restrictions in place at the time.

More information about iCASE studentships can be found on the BBSRC website.

How to apply

Applications for October 2022 entry for iCASE studentships within the White Rose BBSRC DTP are now open (October 2021).
