BBSRC DTP iCASE studentships 2021 entry: project adverts on FindaPhD

As part of the DTP3 funding round from the Biology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC), the White Rose BBSRC DTP has been awarded 7 CASE studentships per year, to be allocated over the academic years 2020-21, 2021-22 and 2022-23.

The studentships due to start in October 2021 are now open for applications.

The deadline for student applications is midnight, Sunday 10th January 2021.

What is iCASE?

Our iCASE studentships are 4-year PhDs that include a collaboration with an industrial partner. The industrial partner supports the student throughout their PhD.  Part of that support involves providing a supervised placement – minimum 3 months – in industry.  This would normally take place on the employers’ premises but may be adapted to remote working depending on any lockdown restrictions in place at the time.

More information about CASE studentships can be found on the BBSRC website.
